Adjunct Instructor (WCPS Dual Enrollment) – Mathematics & Science Inside Higher Ed (Job posted 1 day ago)
The Division of Mathematics and Science is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach Maryland Blueprint Course sections that may be offered at Washington County Public Schools in the upcoming academic year. Applicants must be current WCPS high‑school teachers and demonstrate the ability or credentials to teach in the following areas:
- Mathematics
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Statistics
- Pre‑Calculus (College Algebra & Trigonometry)
- Science (lab‑based exercises and applications)
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Biotechnology / Forensic Science
- Environmental Science
Instructors will work with division directors and full‑time faculty to deliver the same course‑specific instructional content taught at the main campus or online. Course‑specific assignments for student learning‑outcome assessments and grading will also be required.
QualificationsApplicants must be current high‑school teachers in Washington County Public Schools and meet the minimum standards outlined in the Adjunct Faculty Minimum Credentials document.
