Job Summary
Meritus Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in both Home Health and Pediatric outpatient settings. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based speech therapy services across a broad patient population—ranging from newborns to geriatrics. You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support patients in achieving their communication and swallowing goals.
Schedule- Home Health
:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Pediatrics
:
Flexible shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon‑Thurs), 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Fri)
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence‑based practices
- Coordinate care with other therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members
- Supervise students, as appropriate, per departmental and national standards
- Maintain documentation and adhere to ethical standards of care
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program
- Maryland SLP license (or temporary license while awaiting board exam/reciprocity)
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- New grads welcome—must be able to perform job functions after a 3‑month onboarding period
- Salary Range: $82,201.60 – $
