Join Our Team as a Central Distribution Tech! Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about supporting healthcare operations behind the scenes? We're looking for a Central Distribution Tech to play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medical and surgical supplies throughout our facility.
What You'll Do
As a Central Distribution Tech, you'll be responsible for:
* Receiving, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies using computerized systems
* Delivering supplies and procedure trays to/from distribution centers and patient care areas
* Ensuring stock rotation and checking expiration dates to maintain supply integrity
* Participating in weekly cycle counts and annual inventory audits
* Communicating effectively with team members and departments to meet supply needs
* Prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
* Maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction
Key Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED required
* Previous experience in supply chain distribution and customer service preferred
* Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal communication
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Physical & Mental Requirements
This role involves:
* Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods
* Occasional exposure to temperature fluctuations and hazardous materials
