Position Overview
The IMC (Intermediate Care) Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population across Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC/Stepdown units. Nurses must demonstrate clinical competence in caring for patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions, including respiratory distress, cardiac events, and post-critical care transitions. This position requires strong assessment, monitoring, and communication skills while adapting to different unit settings.
Float nurses must be comfortable managing 1:4–1:6 patient ratios and capable of floating between IMC, MS, Observation, Trauma Surgical, Stroke, Palliative, Renal, and other medical units as needed.
Epic experience is strictly required.
Requirements

Active RN License – Compact or MD License Required

• Care of post-surgical, cardiac, and multi-trauma patients
