- Pay or shift range: $82,201 USD to $123,302 USD. The posted range is the budgeted amount for this position. The actual rate of pay will be determined based on several factors, including your relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and alignment with Meritus Health’s compensation practices.

Epic Certified in Resolute Hospital Billing required, with Resolute Home Health Billing preferred.
Join our team as an Epic Analyst – Home Health Billing, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and supporting Epic and related applications across our health system. Reporting to the Project Director, you’ll help drive the development, implementation, and optimization of revenue cycle and information systems that directly support high‑quality patient care.
What You’ll Do- Develop, configure, and support Epic Home Health Billing and related applications.
- Translate operational and business needs into effective EHR workflows and system functionality.
- Build, test, document, and maintain system components while ensuring reliable 24/7 support.
- Train end users on Epic functionality and create clear, effective documentation.
- Analyze processes, identify issues, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with clinical, business, and technical teams to solve problems and enhance system performance.
- Work independently while collaborating with stakeholders across business office, clinical operations, and IT.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, information technology, or a related field
(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare experience required.
- Preferred experience in home health or a major medical center, especially involving IT system deployment.
- Familiarity with home health clinical systems, databases, query languages, and system configuration.
- Understanding of workflows in physician practices, inpatient, outpatient, and financial operations.
- Experience in billing, scheduling, access services, or health information management is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of home health billing and follow‑up preferred.
- Epic Home Health Billing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with SAS, JMP, or similar statistical tools is a plus.
- Prior project team or systems support experience is beneficial.
- Current Epic Home Health Billing certifications or willingness to complete Epic training and obtain certification within required timelines.
- All certifications must be maintained and kept current.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, EHR systems, and business/clinical workflows.
- Ability to translate operational needs into system specifications and logical workflows.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, TJC, and other regulatory requirements impacting home health and hospital operations.
- Skilled in analyzing system functionality, data relationships, and workflow impacts.
- Ability to create and interpret flowcharts, process maps, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with web‑based technologies, analytics, and configuration tools.
- Strong communication skills—able to clearly convey technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Effective meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and project planning abilities.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑directed, adaptable, and comfortable acting as a change agent during system and process transitions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative working relationships.
