Job Description: Leads all technical aspects involved in delivering Salesforce projects on Service Cloud– primarily custom code development (Visualforce and Apex) but also any other related technical items (such as data and external application integration).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical planning process for new feature development and existing software maintenance
• Manage the development and deployment of new applications, and/or enhancements to existing applications.
• Able to perform hands-on  development (Apex, Visualforce, , SOQL, Triggers, Custom Objects, etc.)
• Handle web services API integration with other internal and 3rd Party systems
• Provide guidance and best practices around  solutions
• Provide proactive and creative architecture and coding solutions to help the business
• Determine the scope and corresponding effort estimates for all development.
• Create and maintain development and integration plans

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in  architecture, design, and development
• 2+ years of experience with Service Cloud
• Good working knowledge with programming technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, JQuery, SOAP, AJAX, Java script (including modern JavaScript libraries), Adobe Flex, Java, JSP, PHP, .NET, SQL
• Knowledge of different database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase and database structures and modeling
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Salesforce application development experience including Apex and Visual Force
• Proficiency in the  development environment including custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, , IDE, Triggers, Migration Tools, and Web Services
• In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and building integration with Salesforce
• Experience with Agile development processes, continuous integration, and deployments
• certifications (DEV-501, ADM-xxx, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, et al) are a plus
