About the RoleThe primary objective of this position is to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Amrize maintenance workforce, service companies & contractors by managing complex maintenance projects in a timely fashion. The position will create complex and large‑scale maintenance projects and deliver them to employees with detailed job plans, including technical specifications, machinery history, parts and tools lists, and safety procedures in a very organized fashion.
Working with team members and individually to review each work order and job site to ensure that the work is reasonable and valid, that no influencing constraints are present and that all preparatory works are performed before job scheduling.
- The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for implementing more complex and larger scale plans in the Amrize Maintenance Management System (MMS) – e.g., MAC/SAP in all aspects of maintenance activities. From work identification through planning, scheduling and execution, working with other planners to divide work out appropriately.
- Maintains accuracy and continuous updating of maintenance master data – part numbers, bills of materials, work order history, etc. within the Maintenance Management System and partners with the Maintenance Manager to identify and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensures the equipment maintenance strategy for predictive and preventative maintenance, repair and annual maintenance, as established by the Maintenance Manager, is realized in the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plan.
- Adds pertinent information to work orders, as required, to facilitate the comprehension of the execution team. Defines the scope of work to be performed, establishes preparatory work required prior to scheduled equipment downtime, and develops a detailed job plan with all work sequences involved to adequately complete repairs, equipment downtime and work‑hours required, partnering with other planners to resolve issues and identify opportunities.
- Determines the cost involved for parts and supplies for each work order and ensures that such costs are communicated and forecasted accurately to maintenance management.
- Works closely with procurement and warehousing to ensure that all non‑stock parts and materials as required by the job plan.
- Leads the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for maintenance spending.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promotes a culture of safety and exhibits these behaviors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of required experience or at least 8 years of equivalent experience with HS Diploma / GED.

Additional Requirements- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
