Role: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Compensation: $30.43 - $40.48 per hour

- Learn the processes of how products are made and all the steps involved.
- Learn about site-specific equipment and how it should properly function.
- Maintain smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment using precise measuring and testing instruments.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and assess the wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission components.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Shift work: 24-hour call-out, including weekends.
- Ability to stand for long periods; climb stairs and work in high-up areas.
- Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with knowledge of LOTO procedures or other relevant safety practices.
- 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read and understand detailed repair and instruction manuals.
- Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software.
- Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment.
