Ryder is immediately hiring Temporary to Permanent Full‑Time Material Handlers.

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule:
  
  2nd Shift – Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (OT as needed)

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with good attendance record.
• High level of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Availability for a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
