At Phoenix Color, we are a specialty printing company that operates as a division of Lakeside Book Company. We specialize in producing high-quality, heavily-illustrated book components such as covers, jackets, packaging, labels, while utilizing special decorative techniques like foil stamping and UV embellishments.

Starting Pay (H1-H5): $17.43 - 23.69/hr (+$1.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

What Our Schedules and Shifts Look Like!

Days: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Front Half Days: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:00am-7:00pm

Back Half Days: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00am-7:00pm

Nights: Monday-Thursday (every other Thursday based on production) 7:00pm-7:00am

Available Positions at Phoenix Color:

Film Machine Operator (H4) - Front Half Days

Custodian (H1) - Monday-Friday 3:00am-11:00am

Pressroom Press Assistant (H4) - Nights

Foil Machine Operator (H5) - Back Half Days

Foil Machine Operator (H5) - Nights

Physical Requirements for Pressroom, Film, Foil, Shipping, Spot UV, and Sheeting:

Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand/walk for 12 hours, and push/pull 1100lbs with use of a manual pallet jack or stand-up forklift.

Qualifications:

Must be able to read color differentiation and a ruler

Ability to read and understand written instructions

High levels of attention to detail

Ability to work as a team

Mechanically inclined

May be exposed to some liquid chemicals or vapors

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred

Technical training with printing concentration preferred

Class C Driver’s License (Box Truck Driving positions only)
