As such, they should have adequate training or experience to lead the children’s ministry.
The philosophy of ministry at Paramount is servant‑oriented and team driven, and the position has a degree of openness to allow for the giftedness and calling of the candidate. So, we are open to filling the position with a candidate who is immediately qualified to serve on pastoral staff, or someone who can grow into that role.
The purpose of the children’s ministry at Paramount BIC is to sow the seeds of faith in Jesus into the lives of children, inviting them to a life of discipleship to him, and partnering with parents as they teach and train their children for a life of following Jesus. The Pastor/Director of Children’s Ministries shall collaborate with the Pastoral Staff to oversee the children’s ministries at the church.
