RN - Intensive Care Unit - Full Time - Night shift

Meritus Intensive Care Unit is currently seeking compassionate registered nurses to join our dedicated team. Our 24‑bed ICU serves a diverse patient population with a wide range of complex and critical health needs.   Nurses in our ICU demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills and have strong knowledge of advanced life‑support techniques such as intubation, tracheostomy care, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.

• Ambulate intubated patients and manage the intra‑aortic balloon pump.
• Perform continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI).
• Provide comprehensive critical‑care nursing in a 24‑hour ICU environment.
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and physical therapy.

• Education
  : ASN required. BSN preferred. Diploma RN holders from an accredited nursing school may qualify for the ASN requirement waiver.
• Experience
  :
  Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensure / Certification
  :
  Current RN license in the State of Maryland (or a compact state license appropriate for Maryland). Magnet‑recognized specialty certification preferred.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  :
  Ability to apply professional nursing standards with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Strong organizational and communication skills.
