Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with pediatric experience, night shifts, and specific certification requirements.

• Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry floor with 8 pediatric beds
• Patient ratios are 1:5 for adults and 1:4 for pediatric patients
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Telemetry monitoring required in both adult and pediatric populations
• Must work every other weekend
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients on a med/surg telemetry unit
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
• One time-off request allowed during the contract
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Active MD or compact RN license or pending license accepted
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience with pediatric experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Not open to first-time travelers
