Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a hybrid Cardiac Cath/IR Lab position requiring EPIC experience and advanced procedural skills.

• Work in a hospital-based hybrid Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab
• Handles cardiac, vascular, gastro, urinary, and pulmonary procedures
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Uses EPIC EMR system with prior experience required
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 to 17:30
• On-call required for 7-12 days during each 6-week scheduling period
• Self-scheduling is available with manager approval and balancing
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Local candidates accepted
• Responsible for assisting with various cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Must submit two professional references for consideration
• Orientation and training provided on unit protocols and specific procedures
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided prior to start

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Certifications required: BCLS and ACLS
• Prior experience with procedural sedation, gastro studies, urinary, pulmonary, and vascular procedures
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No first-time travelers will be considered
