Scan and/or enter numbers on register, lift and move goods, make change, bag orders, and complete special projects including restocking returns, replenishing front‑end items (candy, gift cards, snacks), cleaning, and assisting with carts.
Duties And Responsibilities- Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of the shift.
- Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Tally items, take money, and make change.
- Bag items and place bags in carts when necessary.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Can communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
- Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including physical base scores, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to use or learn to use equipment and tools for this job.
- Complete company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
- Perform all job functions safely.
- Meet company performance standards, including regular attendance.
- Agree to wear assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
- Have technical training required for this specific position.
- Shift hours: minimum 4‑hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
- Job cycles: continual max.
- Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
- Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45% of time.
- Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
- Max pull static: 20 lbs.
- Responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as outlined in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook.
