Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data related to sales activities. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that all sales data is entered correctly and in a timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will report directly to the Head of Inside Sales.

• Creating new customer accounts and updating existing accounts in the corporate database
• Processing customer invoices and freight charges
• Investigating and troubleshooting charge and freight issues
• Processing customer credit term requests
• Supporting Accounts Receivable collections
• Maintaining customer-related documents (tax exempt certificates, resale certificates, W9, credit references, key contact information, etc.)
• Making outbound calls to existing customers via telephone, video chat, and email
• Attending periodic training as necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience in data entry, team communication, or customer service
• Skills in ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
• Ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening skills
• Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm
• Ability to perform basic calculations
• High integrity and work ethic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
