Our next Full-time Time Security Guard will oversee and enforce security operations of our company, implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards. You will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

Where you'll be planted

This position will be on-site at our Hagerstown, MD .

Pay: $21/hr

Work Hours: Mon - Wed 8:30am - 5:00pm & Sat/Sun 8:00am - 4:30pm.

• Implement security policies, protocols and procedures
• Monitor property entrance, follow entrance and exit protocol for employees and visitors
• Respond to emergencies and alarms, notify appropriate law enforcement and management
• Monitor video surveillance equipment
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
• Report incidents, breaches, suspicious behaviors, and happenings
• Investigate and resolve issues
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner

• Proven experience as guard services or similar position
• Current Maryland Guard Card
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
• Experience in reporting and emergency response
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed and reliable
• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years of experience in a comparable position
• Availability to occasionally take weekend
• Polite and professional disposition
• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all company regulations.

$21 - $21 an hour

Environmental Factors:

This position requires working in an environment that has a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments. Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection.
