Field Service Technician

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support customers throughout Baltimore, Hagerstown, and surrounding region.

You’ll be the go-to expert diagnosing and repairing specialized utility trucks and equipment in the field, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and other utility and construction equipment.

What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, utility equipment, and trucks at customer locations.

Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs.

Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment uptime.

Road test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.

Document repairs accurately and communicate service updates professionally with customers and internal teams.

Manage service calls efficiently while working independently in the field.

Safely operate, maintain, and inventory a company-provided service truck.

Collaborate with the CTOS Field Service team to deliver exceptional customer support.

What We're Looking For Experience as a Field Service Technician related experience (Heavy Equipment, Truck or Utility Equipment Technician.)Class B CDL required.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Proven ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently in the field.

Strong documentation, organizational and time-management skills.

Professional communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to travel throughout the Baltimore, Hagerstown, and Washington, DC service territory, including occasional overnight travel.
