Ryder is immediately hiring Temporary to Permanent Full Time Material Handlers in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver positions with weekly pay.

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule:
  
  3rd Shift – Sunday – Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:00 am / OT as needed

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Carry out duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induce, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License (certified).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Punctual with a good attendance record.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• High degree of initiative.
• High level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Availability for a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
