Warehouse WMS Clerk 1st Shift

Position Description

Ryder is hiring permanent full‑time WMS Coordinators in Hagerstown, Maryland.

• Hourly Pay: $23.45 per hour
• Schedules Available:
  First Shift
• Sunday‑Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Thursday‑Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1‑2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Assist in supporting standard facility key performance indicators (KPI) which consistently meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on‑site personnel to resolve problems with the day’s orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
