Ryder is immediately hiring Temporary to Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associates in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Temporary to Permanent Full Time

Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Schedule:
  
  2nd Shift – Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm / OT as Needed

• Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure proper scanning; train dock employees on new procedures.
• Secure facility at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage.
• Follow location policies and procedures for material moves and transactions.
• Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in operating/maintaining powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet‑jacks, cherry pickers).
• Certification in powered industrial truck operation.
• Read, interpret, and perform basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Input data into WMS computer system.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Strong interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
• Independence and teamwork.
• Self‑driven in fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent time management, organization, detail orientation; follow‑up practices.
