Warehouse Coordinator

This position is responsible for the daily inventory management of all tools, parts and materials pertaining to the installation, repair, and construction activities within the region.

• Manage shipping, receiving, and stocking of all inventory materials needed for the ongoing operation of the company.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for accuracy and damage, and document discrepancies.
• Oversee converter room activities, if applicable, by location.
• Maintain accurate records and database of inventory materials received, warehoused, and dispersed.
• Complete purchase orders with approved vendors for required materials.
• Project advance inventory requirements in conjunction with operations manager.
• Maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels and the highest possible inventory turnovers.
• Disperse tools and equipment to technicians and maintain employee receipt records.
• Perform quarterly and annual audits of inventory items.
• Deliver materials to satellite operations centers.
• Maintain open and professional communication with all staff, including management, independent contractors, technical staff and office personnel.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring the warehouse is safe, clean, and organized.
• Monitor the condition of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure they are well-maintained and safe to use.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED required. Five to seven years warehouse or broadband industry experience with some supervisory experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred.

Computer Skills

MSOffice software, Internet and Email; database and inventory software as required.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate effectively.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend at the knees and waist and walk.
• Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork.
• Required to raise arms overhead to work, reach, and carry objects.
• Required to use close vision, be able to focus, and see colors.
• Occasionally required to climb a ladder.
• Occasionally required to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. and ladders up to 75 lbs.
• Occasionally required to drive a forklift.
• Required to have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the insurance carrier.
• The employee generally works in warehouses and indoor office environments but occasionally works outdoors, in all types of weather and on uneven terrain.
• Overtime may be required.
