Your Impact
- Lead and support electrical engineering on design of power generation projects
- Lead and support electrical engineering on the design of renewable energy projects
- Lead and support electrical engineering on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades
- Lead and support electrical engineering on federal electrical system upgrades
- Mentor and teach junior engineers
- Project proposal and budget development
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Who You Are
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations and equipment specifications
- 3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design
- Engineer in Training Certification
- CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, and harassment policies
- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification
- Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus
- 3+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
- 3+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $73,100 - $125,400
