This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Class 2 HGV Driver based in Hailsham. The role involves operating heavy goods vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely to designated locations. Key responsibilities include vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, securing loads, planning delivery routes, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries. Accurate completion of delivery documentation and adherence to schedules are critical components of the role.

The safety of both the driver and transported goods is a top priority.

• A valid Class 2 HGV license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Experience in operating and maintaining heavy goods vehicles
• Knowledge of transport regulations and safety protocols
• Strong time management and route planning skills
• Ability to perform vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good physical fitness to manage job demands
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation is an advantage
