Job Description

The Production Supervisor oversees performance, output, and safety during an assigned shift. This leadership role reports to the Production Manager and is critical in ensuring smooth, high-volume production in a clean, fast‑paced environment. Crown Linen operates 365 days a year, requiring a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of receiving, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality control standards.
  • Communicate performance expectations and operational goals clearly to team members.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, provide coaching and feedback.
  • Monitor key metrics such as PPOH, quality, and labor efficiency, and report performance data.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma tools.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountability.
  • Assist in hiring, training, evaluations, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions.
  • Submit shift reports, KPIs, attendance, and safety incidents accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Management teams to resolve production issues quickly.
  • Lead by example and foster a team‑oriented work environment.
  • Help resolve employee issues, customer escalations, and equipment downtime alongside supervisors.
  • Ensure plant compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in management, supervisory or team‑lead role (any industry).
  • Experience in high‑volume operations with time‑sensitive output in manufacturing, logistics, laundry, or warehouse settings.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with WMS or production tracking systems a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high‑volume setting.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays).
Working Conditions
