Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor oversees performance, output, and safety during an assigned shift. This leadership role reports to the Production Manager and is critical in ensuring smooth, high-volume production in a clean, fast‑paced environment. Crown Linen operates 365 days a year, requiring a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of receiving, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality control standards.
- Communicate performance expectations and operational goals clearly to team members.
- Monitor individual and team performance, provide coaching and feedback.
- Monitor key metrics such as PPOH, quality, and labor efficiency, and report performance data.
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma tools.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountability.
- Assist in hiring, training, evaluations, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions.
- Submit shift reports, KPIs, attendance, and safety incidents accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Management teams to resolve production issues quickly.
- Lead by example and foster a team‑oriented work environment.
- Help resolve employee issues, customer escalations, and equipment downtime alongside supervisors.
- Ensure plant compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications- Proven experience in management, supervisory or team‑lead role (any industry).
- Experience in high‑volume operations with time‑sensitive output in manufacturing, logistics, laundry, or warehouse settings.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with WMS or production tracking systems a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts in a fast‑paced setting.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high‑volume setting.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays).
Inside work: protected from weather conditions.
Outside work: no effective protection from weather.
