Base pay range$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Responsibilities- Open and close the store in the absence of management, including start‑ups, cash handling, ensuring floor and stockroom ready; responsible for opening back door for deliveries.
- Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to safe, and provide change as requested.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Engage customers/patients by greeting and offering assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions.
- Share customer service best practices; include greeting, eye contact, courtesy, proactive help, and identifying needs.
- Hold store keys to open/close without management.
- Coach team members in warehouse and vendor ordering, including backdoor deliveries.
- Register all sales on cash register, maintaining accurate records of errors, price verifications, voids, and modifications.
- Assist manager with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluate displays, promotions, seasonal and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts, ensuring on‑hand quantities are correct.
- Ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members.
- Price basic department items, make daily price changes, display signage, and comply with local regulations.
- Assist bookkeeping tasks: cash reports, counts, ledgers, and bill payment.
- Maintain store appearance—exterior and interior—request repairs as needed.
- Separate food items and place products per policies; rotate stock using FIFO.
- Have knowledge of store systems and equipment.
- Assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
- Ensure compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
- Check team members’ bag before leaving store.
- Comply with all company policies, and maintain respectful relationships.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Attend training and complete required PPLs.
- Serve as liaison between management and staff; communicate tasks when management absent.
- Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
- Consideration for applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required.
