This role calls for a dedicated self-starter with proven experience delivering excellent customer service. As a Senior Municipal Enforcement Officer, you will interpret and enforce various municipal by-laws while collaborating with enforcement agencies to ensure compliance. You'll also manage public inquiries, address complaints, and conduct investigations to ensure community safety and adherence to regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce municipal by-laws and legislation
• Conduct investigations and manage complaints
• Collaborate with other enforcement agencies
• Prepare cases for court proceedings as needed
• Facilitate education on regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• Certified Municipal Law Enforcement Officer
• Certified Property Standards Officer
• 3-4 years related experience
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in MS Office software
