Mixed Tax Manager - Halesworth

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking a Tax Manager to join their team in Halesworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA-qualified professional (or someone with equivalent experience) to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm's tax offering.

As Tax Manager, you will provide expert tax advice to a range of clients, with a particular focus on owner-managed businesses. You will work closely with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions while supporting and developing junior members of the team.

• Managing a portfolio of tax clients and acting as a trusted adviser
• Providing advice on Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax matters
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering effective solutions
• Managing and reviewing tax compliance work
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members
• Leading tax consultancy assignments and resolving complex technical issues
• Supporting business development and cross-selling initiatives
• Managing work in progress, billing and client service delivery

• CTA qualification or equivalent tax experience
• Strong experience dealing with owner-managed business tax issues
• Sound technical knowledge across Income Tax, Corporation Tax, CGT and IHT
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Previous experience managing or mentoring staff
