Reports To: Area Coordinator/Mill Team Leader

Duracraft Solutions is seeking a dependable Edge Band Operator for our second shift production team. This position is responsible for operating edge banding equipment to apply edging material to cabinet and panel components while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. The Edge Band Operator plays a key role in producing high-quality finished parts and supporting overall manufacturing efficiency.

• Operate edge banding machines to apply edging to panels and components per work orders
• Load and unload materials from the machine safely and efficiently
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machine settings such as feed speed, temperature, and pressure
• Inspect finished parts for quality, proper adhesion, and appearance
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor adjustments as needed
• Stack, label, and stage completed parts according to production requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate with leads and supervisors regarding production or quality issues
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Assist with other production duties as assigned

• One year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn machine operation and quality standards
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to read tape measurer

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Indoor manufacturing facility
• Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, adhesives, and varying temperatures
• Personal protective equipment required and provided

Second shift: 4pm to 2:30am
