Essel is looking for a construction Superintendent with experience managing mid to large scale projects to join our team!
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 a year The Superintendent will lead in the following industries:- Colleges
- Universities
- K-12 Districts
- Coaching subcontractors on safe construction practices
- Quality control, ensuring all subcontractor deficiencies are corrected
- Maintaining the project schedule and establishing the critical path for subs and vendors
- Facilitating and encouraging subcontractor coordination
- Working with design team and owner to overcome challenges / unforeseen conditions
- Reviewing all drawings, specifications and submittals
- Daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years construction experience
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Complete and detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing
- Understanding of ASI’s RFI’s and Material Submittals
- Technology:
Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Procore - Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
- Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service
- Must be willing to travel within the Bay Area
- OSHA 30
- A valid Driver’s License
