Job Summary

Wellness Solutions, a Work Care Company, is searching for experienced Wellness Coaches to join us at onsite screening and wellness coaching events for our first responder clients throughout California.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct onsite fitness screenings including blood pressure, body fat measurements (BIA), FMS assessments, and other screenings following ACSM guidelines.
  • Conduct virtual wellness consultations and follow‑ups with participants regarding blood‑work results (lipid panel, cardiovascular markers) and provide recommendations on exercise, injury prevention, rehabilitation, nutrition, weight management, stress management, blood pressure, cholesterol, and general health education. Offer additional follow‑up services to medium‑high risk individuals.
  • Track program participation by entering data into the wellness platform.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nutrition, or related field.
  • FMS Level 1 or higher certification preferred; must be willing to obtain certification within the timeframe specified in the offer letter if not currently certified.
  • Certified ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist or certification by the American Society of Exercise Physiologists (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience providing wellness and fitness testing services and wellness coaching, preferably with first responders.
  • Experience in fitness testing (VO₂ Max, Functional Movement Screen, etc.) and related certifications (CPR, ACSM, NSCA, CES, etc.) required.

  • Consistency and punctuality required.
Computer Skills
  • Competent in Windows OS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); willing to learn other software as needed.
Physical Demands
  • Require sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to kneel for extended periods during emergency care and/or CPR.
  • Occasional bending, stretching, and crouching.
  • Travel required.
  • Ability to work under stress and use computer/phone.
  • Manual dexterity for computer and mouse usage.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds and climb stairs.
Work Environment
  • Primarily indoor office environment.
  • Moderate noise levels.
  • Good air quality and controlled temperature.
  • Virtual consultations require a quiet, distraction‑free space with acceptable noise level and controlled temperature; home setup must meet Company IT, privacy, and safety requirements.

This position has an hourly pay range of $30–$35 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
