Elevate your accounting career as an Accounting Technician at our on-site location. This role focuses on payroll processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for our company.
We are seeking an Accounting Technician with 1-2 years of experience to manage our financial records successfully. You will perform key responsibilities including payroll cheque preparation, maintaining ledgers, and preparing trial balances. Additionally, familiarity with accounting software such as Quick Books or Sage is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Reconcile accounts accurately
• Prepare tax returns and statistical reports
• Post journal entries and balance accounts
Requirements:
• 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting
• College diploma or certificate in accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Strong data analysis skills
• Must work on-site; no remote option
