About the OpportunityMcDougall Energy is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Reconciliation Clerk with a positive attitude to join our team. Reporting to the Director Finance, the Supply Reconciliation Clerk reconciles the Company’s fuel pricing records to the rates invoiced by its major fuel supplier(s).
Responsibilities- Ensure accuracy of the Company’s pricing records
- Identify discrepancies and follow up with various departments to investigate and resolve
- Clear invoices for payment and reconcile to Company bank payments
- Process invoice corrections
- Reconcile invoice values to validate the accuracy of invoices being charged to the Company
- Troubleshoot pricing issues with suppliers and internal McDougall Energy team members
- Request correction(s) to ensure McDougall Energy is processing the correct payment value for all invoices
- Prepare wire payments on a weekly basis to submit to vendors
- Monitor outstanding invoices in suppliers’ accounts to ensure all are matches and any discrepancies are reviewed and resolved
- Other duties as assigned
- Ideally 3 years’ experience working in processing and reconciling accounts payable data
- College Diploma in Accounting or related area
- Ability to handle large volumes of data with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle sensitive communications
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize a significant workload
- Ability to work under pressure, often with time-sensitive deadlines
- Strong computer proficiency; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
Excel, Word - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience working with an ERP system an asset
- Pay: starting at $24.50 per hour
