Position: Accounting Intern at BDO
Advance your accounting skills as an Accounting Intern at BDO in Halifax from January to April 2027. This role allows you to engage with clients and prepare financial statements in a supportive environment.

The Halifax office of BDO is inviting enthusiastic Co-op students to apply for an internship within the Financial Reporting & Insights team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, preparing essential financial documents and engaging in regular analysis. Your collaboration with colleagues and your proactive approach will be key to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for various client needs

• Document working files for taxation and returns

• Foster positive client relationships and handle inquiries

• Complete ongoing accounting analysis per guidelines

• Collaborate with other teams on accounting functions

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an accounting degree or diploma program

• Passion for a long-term role in Financial Reporting

• Experience with Quickbooks, Xero, or other software valued

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
