As part of the Lawen Group Finance team, the Project Accountant is the financial connection to Dexel Developments’ active construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents and project teams, you’ll keep a finger on the financial pulse of our developments, making sure project costs are captured accurately, budgets stay visible and the numbers behind our builds tell the right story.

• Own project job costing
• Track budgets vs. actuals
• Process subcontractor billings
• Keep contracts and SOVs organized
• Prepare monthly construction draws
• Track holdbacks and releases

• CPA designation an asset
• 5+ years in construction or project accounting

Head Office based but connected directly to the action on our construction sites. You’ll spend much of your day working in project accounting systems, spreadsheets and financial records, while staying closely connected with Project Managers and site teams. Expect deadlines, details and plenty of moving pieces, this is construction accounting after all.
