From hedge funds and captive insurers to alternative investment structures, you’ll lead IFRS and US GAAP audits for cross-border financial services clients, the kind of portfolio people usually relocate to Bermuda or Cayman to build. You get it from a Canadian harbour city. The team has served this book for more than a decade, so the clients, the technical depth and the partner relationships are already there for you to build on.
You'll work with three partners on both sides of the Atlantic, depending on your clients, in a team small enough that your portfolio is yours to shape. You'll have a real say in how each client relationship grows, and with three partners close by, your work gets seen. Oh, and there’s travel to the Cayman Islands. Nobody’s complained yet.

- Canadian CPA qualified ideally
- Canadian citizenship or existing right to work in Canada is a requirement
- 5+ years external auditing experience gained within a Big Four/Top 10 international accountancy practice
- Solid Financial Services client experience (ideally funds, alternative investments and/or insurance) Captive Insurance experience is a huge bonus!!
- Confidence managing client relationships directly, across a range of seniority levels
It’s a proper harbour city! Downtown sits right on the water, close enough that lunch by the boardwalk is a normal Tuesday. Beaches, hiking, and sailing are all a short drive out, and the city runs at a pace that lets your evening start the moment you leave the office instead of an hour later once you've fought traffic home. It’s still a real city with a real professional market.
It just doesn't ask you to give up your life to have a career in it.
