Accounts Payable Receivable Clerk

Process accounts payable and receivable for MBS Radio in Halifax, using accuracy, organization, and communication across the Maritimes. This fully in-office role supports daily accounting operations.

As an Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerk, you will maintain financial records and support MBS Radio’s accounting team. The work includes transaction processing, customer account maintenance, invoice documentation, and follow-up on outstanding balances. You will also assist with recurring deadlines, month-end close, year-end requirements, and external reviews.

• Process accounts payable invoices and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable transactions and customer records
• Monitor aging accounts and follow up on overdue balances
• Investigate discrepancies and missing financial information
• Support monthly close, year-end requirements, and audits

• Experience with accounts payable, receivable, bookkeeping, or financial data entry
• Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and recurring deadlines
