As part of the Social Work team, you’ll assist residents and families during critical transitions. Your primary duties will cover administrative assistance, data entry, and directly accompanying residents to necessary appointments. Each day offers the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents and their families during transitions
• Handle administrative duties, including funding requests
• Conduct data entry with precision and care
• Accompany residents to required appointments
• Help residents with personal shopping and needs
Requirements:
• Ongoing or completed post-secondary education
• Prefer relevant experience in dementia and palliative care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with person-centered care is advantageous
• Consistent attendance to enhance operational effectiveness
Be a source of support for residents at Northwood Halifax by leveraging your administrative and interpersonal skills.
