Join IWK Health as an Administrative Assistant II, delivering high-quality support to the Provincial Preschool Autism Services team in Halifax. Your organizational prowess will be pivotal in managing patient interactions and internal communications.
In this permanent full-time position, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the province, contributing to the care coordination for children with autism. Your exemplary communication and technical skills are essential for streamlining administrative processes in a modern healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for the team
• Communicate information without delay to patients and stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks
• Provide support for technology tools and applications
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a recognized Office Administration program
• At least six months of relevant experience
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal and initiative-driven approach required
