Lead Shopify ecommerce projects remotely from Canada for Symmetry Commerce, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, budgets, and client delivery. This temporary contract spans three months.
As Shopify Project Manager, you will drive cross-functional web projects involving development, designers, technology partners, client stakeholders, and leadership. You will identify needs, define actionable goals, manage requirements, and provide ecommerce guidance. The work supports Shopify store setup, migration, design, development, integrations, and consultations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan timelines and track deliverables against client obligations
- Coordinate developers, designers, clients, partners, and leadership
- Manage out-of-scope requests and communicate budget impacts
- Lead meetings, client communications, agendas, and action items
- Share Shopify best practices and ecommerce industry trends
- History managing high-value web projects on time
- Experience leading ecommerce software development and deployment projects
- Knowledge of ecommerce, web design, and development basics
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, requirements, and expectations
- Exceptional writing and confident verbal presentation skills
