Drive portfolio strategy and execution at Manulife in a hybrid Business Manager role supporting Retail Products, Data & Analytics, and Pricing & Yield Management.
This individual contributor leads annual planning, integrated roadmaps, portfolio oversight, and performance routines. Reporting to the Vice President & Head of Retail Products and Portfolio Yield Management, the role coordinates strategic initiatives, business-as-usual commitments, regulatory work, and transformation activity across Manulife Bank. It also strengthens accountability, governance, and leadership communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead annual strategy and business planning activities
- Coordinate quarterly, monthly, and weekly operating rhythms
- Manage portfolio commitments, dependencies, risks, and escalations
- Coordinate budgets, investments, vendors, and performance indicators
- Translate analytics into leadership actions and decisions
- Seven-plus years in business management, strategy, or comparable work
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field
- Exceptional program and portfolio management capabilities
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Advanced executive writing, PowerPoint, and Excel capabilities
