As a Construction Site Inspector, you'll report to the Director of Public Housing - New Builds, ensuring all project inspections meet specifications and regulations.
Your role involves close collaboration with Build Nova Scotia representatives to monitor multiple projects. Building strong relationships with contractors and trades will be vital for maintaining project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify compliance with New Public Housing design guidelines
• Assess contractor payment requests for accuracy
• Track project deliverables and site documentation
• Report construction non-conformance issues promptly
• Deliver weekly updates and photographic reports
Requirements:
• Must hold a Red Seal or equivalent certification
• 5+ years experience in large project construction
• Background in inspection or administration preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare or public sector projects is an asset
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying conditions
