The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager to support the successful execution of projects. This role provides technical and administrative assistance to ensure projects move forward efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Modern Niagara standards.

Key Impact / Purpose
Support project delivery by managing documentation, schedules, and communication.
Strengthen collaboration between project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in reviews and process enhancements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to Project Managers, Project Teams, and Site Superintendents.
Organize and distribute project-related documents and drawings from manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Perform data system entries (purchase orders, change orders, WIP forecast sheets, construction schedules).
Set up and maintain project start-up binders.
Create, log, and track all project communication and documentation.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors where required.
Maintain document control of all site paperwork.
Participate in operational meetings and project reviews.
Perform additional related duties as required under the direction of the hiring manager.
Must-haves
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of project coordination experience in mechanical contracting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with project/construction management software.
Exposure to project financial management.
This is a new position. Expected annual compensation; $50,000 - $60,000
