Position: Safety Administrator at Ocean Contractors
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

As a key member of the team at Ocean Contractors, you will assist the Safety Manager with vital safety tasks, conduct jobsite visits, and complete hazard assessments and inspections. Your input will help ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies, fostering safe work practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Safety Manager with daily health and safety tasks

• Conduct jobsite visits throughout the HRM

• Complete inspections and hazard assessments efficiently

• Monitor compliance with safety policies and regulations

• Manage subcontractor safety documentation and compliance

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Health and Safety

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation

• Valid driver's license required

• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Experience in construction industry is a plus
