As an Equipment Operator for Canadian Road Builders, you will handle essential machinery such as loaders, chip spreaders, and rollers.
Your role involves not just operating these vehicles but also preparing project sites and ensuring all safety guidelines are followed rigorously. You will maintain vehicles, assisting in basic repairs, and work collaboratively to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate chip spreaders, loaders, and rollers for projects
• Conduct maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Prepare work sites and install necessary signage
• Follow safety protocols and wear required protective gear
• Provide assistance with general labor tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Experience with chip spreaders, loaders, or rollers
• Class 5 Driver’s License and recent driver’s abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions
• Physically fit and compliant with company policies
• Willing to travel to remote job sites
