Role Summary
The project coordinator coop opportunity is for motivated, multi‑faced technically inclined students who enjoy working on a wide variety of tasks, are quick to learn, and keen to make a significant contribution to a successful and growing company. Key Impact / Purpose
Gain hands‑on experience in real construction project delivery
Strengthen communication and collaboration across project teams
Build foundational project management skills in a practical environment
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with project managers for reporting and gathering of information
Assist with site contract document control
Work with general contractors to coordinate priorities and activities
Coordinate and support various meetings with subcontractors and clients
Support the management and monitoring of a construction schedule
Communicate and relay information between office personnel and field staff
Support project managers, coordinators and foremen on various other projects as requested
Must‑haves
Working towards a university degree or college diploma in a related field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills with hands‑on working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
Team player, energetic, resourceful, reliable and timely
Eager to work and learn in a fast‑paced industry
Comfortable working on a construction job site or in an office setting
Nice‑to‑haves
Related work experience is an asset, including from other co‑op placements, internships, projects
Experience in the construction industry is a strong asset but not mandatory
Basic understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems is an asset but not necessary
Working at Heights Certificate – not mandatory, as we will provide training
Salary range for this position is $23–$25 per hour
