Join the Canadian Armed Forces as an Imagery Technician and contribute to the storytelling of military operations through powerful visuals. You will work hands-on with advanced imaging equipment to create impactful stills and videos.
In this role, you will serve as a key player in documenting events within the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Special Forces. Responsibilities include producing diverse imagery products, performing equipment maintenance, and using technologies like thermal imaging. Candidates will gain invaluable experience while contributing to internal communication and public affairs objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate diverse still and video products for operational use
• Operate various imaging technologies for documentation
• Maintain an organized imagery database for easy access
• Analyze and enhance images for optimal quality
• Evaluate and provide feedback on new imaging tools
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 minimum; ideal with a diploma
• Familiarity with imaging technologies preferred
• Strong problem-solving capabilities in technical tasks
• Effective communication skills for teamwork
• Flexibility to work in varying environments
