Our work spans a quarterly print magazine, digital media platform, community storytelling, and high-profile cultural events that highlight community impact and inclusive leadership.
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our growing team and support our expanding portfolio of media and event-based projects.
Position Summary
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that reflect MECE’s brand identity across print, digital, and event platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong creative vision, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline‑driven environment.
This role supports the design and layout of our quarterly magazine, promotional materials, social media graphics, event collateral, and branded marketing assets.
Key Responsibilities
Design layouts for MECE’s quarterly print magazine
Create digital graphics for social media, website, and email campaigns
Develop visual assets for MECE events (posters, banners, programs, signage, tickets, backdrops)
Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials
Collaborate with editorial, marketing and events teams to translate concepts into creative visuals
Prepare print‑ready and web‑optimized files
Support design needs for sponsor and partner activations
Adapt and revise designs based on feedback and deadlines
Contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and brand presentation
Qualifications & Skills
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience (media, events or publishing experience is an asset)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy
Experience designing for both print and digital platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and creative problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience working with culturally diverse projects or organizations is an asset
