Lead contemporary worship at House of Intercessory Prayer Ministries in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This part-time position invites musicians with a calling for worship ministry to connect people with God through music.
HIPM seeks a dedicated, Spirit-filled Worship Leader to guide congregational worship and develop the worship team. The ideal candidate will possess strong musical abilities and a passion for creating a Christ-centered environment during services and special events. This role also includes leading rehearsals and coordinating worship practices to support the musical growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead worship during Sunday services
• Select appropriate worship songs in collaboration with pastors
• Encourage participation in worship experiences
• Coordinate weekly practices and rehearsal schedules
• Mentor and develop talents within the worship team
Requirements:
• Strong vocal skills and instrument proficiency preferred
• Commitment to Christian faith and ministry values
• Experience with contemporary worship music
• Ability to work collaboratively with the congregation
• Reliability and accountability in ministry responsibilities
