In this unionized full-time role, your primary focus will be to assist passengers through screening processes and offer tailored support for their individual requirements. Emphasizing communication and empathy, you will work alongside Screening Officers to ensure each traveler has a positive experience. Staying educated on relevant disability initiatives will empower you to meet diverse passenger needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage passengers and offer tailored assistance
• Help travelers navigate screening procedures
• Explain options for medical devices and aids
• Partner with Screening Officers for improved service
• Keep current on disability-focused industry trends
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or comparable experience
• Minimum of 1-3 years in customer service
• Fluent in both French and English
• Ability to provide physical support when needed
• Excellent active listening and empathy skills
Support diversity in travel as a vital part of the aviation team in Halifax.
